We are looking for Social Media & PR Executive to join the regional marketing team for our Kuala Lumpur office. This role is fast paced and suitable for people with 1-3 years of experience in social media management, public relations and communications.
Scope of the role includes:
1. Social media campaign development – support marketing team to develop social media campaign concept and planning
2. Manage company's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube) - plan monthly calendar, create content, devise contests and execute postings to help drive traffic and engagement to brand's social media channels
3. Content creation – work closely with the designers and photographers to build content (text, visuals or videos) for communication with the consumers by compiling all your content ideas in a monthly content calendar
4. Influencer development – identify influencers and brand ambassadors according to Company’s strategic direction; build genuine and meaningful relationships with these influencers, ambassadors and bloggers to build a community of Amazin’ Graze brand advocates
5. PR & Media – Identify and execute publicity campaigns and media relations strategies; prepare, edit and distribute press releases and track media coverage and adopt industry trends
6. Reporting – track weekly & monthly social media & PR performance and evaluate results to identify opportunities for improvement to company management
- At least 1 year of demonstrable experience in communications, PR or social media management
- Excellent in written and spoken English
- Able to speak clearly, confidently and persuasively
- A people-person who loves networking and is great at building relationship
- Highly motivated, positive and outgoing personality
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
- Bachelor degree in PR, Marketing, Journalism or related field is a plus
- Photography and videography skills is a plus!
